Barn Dance - Hosted by Si and Dorothy Sibell, sponsored by the Historic Monument Merchants Association. 7PM-Midnight. Admission Fee - $10 per person
$15 per couple. All proceeds go to Tri-Lakes Cares and Toys For Tots. Jack Daddy will perform, beer, wine, and soda available. ID required for alcohol.

Ride The Bus - Transportation is sponsored by Kiwanis and Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce. Shuttle buses(District 38 yellow school buses) will shuttle event attendees from parking facilities to Vitamin Cottage 8AM - 10AM July 3rd. Parking areas are located at LPHS, Monument Park and Ride, and PRHS. Eating, drinking, or smoking is not allowed. You may bring strollers, coolers, and folding chairs on the bus. A donation of $1 per person is appreciated to help pay the cost of operating the buses. Return trips begin at 12PM-2PM. No shuttle to Palmer Lake after parade.

29th Annual Fun Run - Sponsored by Palmer Lake Elementary PTO. Register at www.july4funrun.com
Cost - age 15 and under $12, age 16 and up $23. Pick up your packets at Palmer Lake Elementary School July 2nd 3:30PM-7:30PM. On site registration 6AM at Palmer Lake Park, cost $30. Chip timing by Your Cause Sports. Kids fun run after main run. Participants may return to start by shuttle. No shuttle to Palmer Lake after parade. All proceeds go to PLES PTO.

Pancake Breakfast - Sponsored by St Peter's Knights of Columbus. 7AM-10AM. Breakfast served with pancakes, eggs, sausage, and juice. $6 for adults, $4 for kids. Proceeds go to charity. Coffee is free.

4th of July Parade - "Home Of The Free Because Of The Brave" Sponsored by Monument Hill Kiwanis. July 3rd children's parade starts at 9:30AM at Lincoln and Jefferson Streets, main parade begins at 10AM in Downtown Monument.

Tractor Pull - Tractors from 1952 and earlier pull weighted sleighs over a measured course, greatest distance determines winner. Park at the gazebo and take a free hayride to and from the event on County Line Rd. New this year, we will have a kiddie garden tractor pull on Sunday the 4th. All kidparticipants will receive a trophy!

What A Blast - Sponsored by the Palmer Lake Fireworks Committee. NoonJuly 3rd and 11AM July 4th. Runs until dusk in downtown Palmer Lake at the lakeside near the ballfield. The event presents live music by several local bands. 3rd - 'Matt & Miles', 'Young Austin and No Difference', 'Cry of a Giant', and 'Jack Daddy'. 4th - 'Rich Owens', 'Last Minute', Dirty Old Men', 'Trademark Infringement', and 'At a Loss'. Each band plays for about 2 hours. Palmer Lake will also have vendors, kids games, bounce house, climbing wall and zip line, and much more! The finale will be the spectacular fireworks display over Palmer Lake!

The Best Small Town Fireworks Show In America - Sponsored by the Palmer Lake Fireworks Committee the show begins at dusk by the lake side. Tune in to 92.9 at 9PM to hear the music choreographed to our fireworks. The entire show and associated costs are funded by donations only. The committee actively
seeks donations to help pay for the celebration.
